Alan Brown, Senior AdviserAlan joined Schroders in 2005 as Chief Investment Officer, a role he remained in until early May 2012 when he retired from the Board. Alan has an impressive investment career spanning over 35 years and in his new role as Senior Adviser, Schroders remains his principal focus. Alan started out at Morgan Grenfell as an equity analyst before joining JP Morgan's Commercial Bank Management Program where he later became an International Fixed Income fund manager and then Director of Investments. He joined Posthorn Global Asset Management in 1984 as Head of Fixed Income, moving to PanAgora Asset Management as Chief Investment Officer in 1989. In 1995, Alan joined State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), initially as Managing Director, and later as Group Chief Investment Officer and Vice Chairman of SSgA, and Executive Vice President of State Street Corporation. |

Richard Buxton, Head of UK EquitiesRichard's extensive investment career spans over 25 years - of which, 20 have been focused exclusively on UK equities. Richard joined Schroders in 2001 and has been Head of UK Equities since 2003. He has previously worked at companies including Baring Asset Management, where he was a UK equity fund manager and Brown Shipley Asset Management, where he was a fixed income and equity fund manager. |

Robert Farago, Head of Asset Allocation, Schroders Private BankRobert joined Schroders in 1994 and is responsible for the private bank's asset allocation policy. He was previously an alternatives analyst for Schroders' multi-asset team. Prior to that, he was head of the Private Bank's Investment Unit, and before that a senior Pacific Basin fund manager. His investment career commenced in 1987 upon joining Bankers Trust as a graduate trainee (European equities) before focusing on Asian equities. |

Johanna Kyrklund, Head of Multi-Asset InvestmentsJohanna joined Schroders in 2007 and is responsible for investment on behalf of all UK, European and US Multi-Asset clients. She is a member of the Global Asset Allocation Committee. From 2005, Johanna worked at Insight Investment where she managed an unconstrained global macro absolute return fund. From 1997 to 2005 she worked at Deutsche Asset Management where she was Head of Asset Allocation in the UK and fund manager of the Deutsche Tactical Asset Allocation Fund. |
